The Library Offers Weekly Story Times for preschool children


Story times at the Delaware County District Library are specially designed to help children thrive in their early stages of development. Books, stories, songs and motor skills activities are created for the cognitive levels of specific age groups.


Below is a guideline; please feel free to bring your child to the story time you feel is most appropriate for him or her. There is no registration required to attend any story time.

• Baby Time: From birth to 24 months


• Toddler Time: For ages 2-3 years old


• Picture Book Time: For ages 4-6 years old


• Open/Family Story Time: For all ages, suggested for up to 6 years


• Book Bunch: For ages 6-11
