The Laverne Vogt Art Collection

In 2000, local resident and art collector Laverne Vogt generously donated her extensive collection of original
artwork to the Delaware County District Library. This collection is displayed on the walls of the Local History Room. It features
works by several local artists, including Mrs. Vogt. Most of the pieces are watercolors, with some oil paintings.
The Board of Trustees and the staff of the Delaware County District Library are very grateful to Mrs. Vogt for this valuable gift.
Because of its emphasis on local artists, the Laverne Vogt Art Collection is a perfect addition
to the library's Local History Room.
