Check Out Our Summer Programs

Summer is by far the busiest time of year at the Delaware County District Library. Why? Because from May 31 through July 28 we host our annual Summer Reading Club! This year's theme is "A Universe of Stories." We will blast off into space and explore the science of our solar system, while we also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing!

It all begins with a kick-off party at the Orange Branch Library on Friday, May 31 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. It will feature special guest visitors like Zak Morgan music, COSI, and more. We will also host a speaker series featuring journalist Jim Slade, and authors Rachel Ignotofsky and Robert Kurson. Each of these storytellers has a unique perspective on space and our history of space exploration as a nation. It will be perfect for high school and adult readers. Flip through our summer issue of "Check It Out" to see everything we have in store at Your Library!
