Meet Author Rick Steves

Delaware County District Library, in conjunction with 11 other Central Ohio Libraries, is excited to invite you to join us for an evening with Rick Steves, popular public television host, travel writer, and America’s most respected authority on European travel.

On Thursday, February 20 at 7 pm, join Rick as he recalls adventures from his new book “On the Hippie Trail: Istanbul to Kathmandu and the Making of a Travel Writer.” In 1978, a 23-year-old Rick Steves traveled the storied “Hippie Trail.” The story–captured vividly thanks to his 60,000 word journal–inspired this talk. Travel through the back door. Travel as a political act. And come home with the greatest souvenir: a broader perspective.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster beginning on Friday, December 20th and will be offered at four price points based on seat selection (including a $3.00 facility fee): $60.85, $43.85, $32.85, $21.85.
