Clay Crafts with the Arts Castle

Video One: How to make paper clay at home.

Materials needed for DIY clay:

Shredded Paper Flour Salt Blender (can be a stick blender)

Video Two: How to make a book sculpture.

Tell your story through sculpture as we make a paper clay book decorated with items important to you.

Materials needed for book sculpture:

Three items about the size of a quarter that you would like to decorate with Premade paper clay (or modeling clay, or other air dry clay) Rolling Pin Paint and any other art materials you have

Video Three: How to make a dragon egg-shaped box.

Make a magical dragon egg secret storage box out of paper clay that can hold items that tell your story.

Materials needed for book sculpture:

Premade paper clay (or modeling clay, or other air dry clay) Egg embellishments (marbles, plastic jewels other small materials from your home) Paint and any other art materials you have
