Inspired by 1930's Kentucky, this book chronicles the Pack Horse Library Project and the challenges faced by the historical blue-skinned people residing in Appalachia.  Book Woman tells a story of hope, heartbreak, and courage -- and one woman's belief that books make a real difference in people's lives.
