Welcome to the Great GeekFest!
The Great GeekFest is a celebration of all the things people geek out over. Come and share what you’re geeky for in the home of all geekdoms: the Library. Whether you’re a die-hard cosplayer, a video game nut or a casual fan there’s something to entertain you all day.
Admission is FREE and all ages are welcome to attend. We've even got an area for the littlest of "geeks."
Featured Guest: Paranormal Investigator, Author, and Board Game Designer Grant Wilson
1 PM on the Main Stage
Grant Wilson has been actively involved in all types of paranormal investigation since his first intense encounter with the paranormal at age 15. He is perhaps best known for the cable show Ghost Hunters. When he isn't helping people cope with the paranormal Grant is traveling the world or at home with his family. He is an avid composer of piano music with two albums to date. He has co-authored Brotherhood of the Strange, a steampunk fiction novel. He is Art Director & Developer for Rather Dashing Games where he helps design and create art for family style board games.
Main Stage Magic with The Mastersons
11 AM on the Main Stage
Reed & Ashton Masterson are nationally touring, award-winning illusionists, that bring a whole new meaning to the term 'magic show.' With their signature rockstar style, and larger than life personalities in high demand, this pair spends more time on stage than off. They’ve performed for numerous celebrities, have been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC, THE CW, and just recently performed for a studio audience of 1,000 during the filming of an A&E television special.
We are no longer accepting applications for vendors. If you are interested in becoming a vendor in 2019, please contact Megan Shoemaker at mshoemaker@delawarelibrary.org.
