The future of DCDL is bright!

Thank You, Voters!!!

Thank you for supporting our Delaware County District Library! We’re excited to share the news that the 2025 DCDL levy has officially passed!

“In a time when conversations at the Ohio Statehouse suggest the potential erosion of critical library funding, Delaware County voters delivered a powerful affirmation of the values libraries embody: access, opportunity, and stronger communities. Ohio’s public libraries are among the best in the nation — not by accident, but because communities and libraries have worked hand in hand. That partnership is being tested, and our residents stood up. Our patrons rely on us for everything from early childhood literacy and job-seeking support to broadband access and lifelong learning. The reality is, if the State pulls back support, local communities will bear an even greater burden. Thankfully, our voters have once again shown they are willing to invest in the future — but that doesn’t absolve state leaders of their responsibility.” — DCDL Director Bryan Howard

We’re so grateful for your support of our library’s mission: to continue to open doors to imagination, knowledge, connection, and discovery. If you haven’t already, we invite you to read our plan for the future. If you have questions or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you.

We open doors to imagination, knowledge, connection, and discovery.
