Library Notices by Email or Text

Keep in touch! Sign up for email or text notifications for items that you’ve borrowed or put on hold. You can ask a staff member to sign you up, or follow the steps below:

  1. Click My Account to log into your library record.
  2. Once you’ve accessed your account, click on “My Settings.”
  3. Here, you can enter or change your email address.  For text messages, you will need to put in your phone number in this format: 7405551234@sms.oplin.org, with your cell phone number (no hyphens) at the beginning of the email address.

If you want to receive both email and text messages, enter them both in the email address box, separating them by a comma.
