The Delaware County District Library Board of Trustees is requesting sealed bids to replace the asphalt parking lot at the Orange Branch Library.

Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Tour will take place on September 9, 2021 at 2:30 pm at the Delaware County District Library Orange Branch. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference and the site tour. Please RSVP to Julie Miller at jmiller@delawarelibrary.org.

Fiscal Specialist

The Delaware County District Library, Delaware Branch, has an opening for a full-time non-exempt status (40-hours per week), Fiscal Specialist. This position supports the Fiscal Office by performing clerical and financial tasks related to accounting and provides assistance with financial accounting and management of the Library system.

This position will be required to travel between Library locations, be required to participate and attend periodic events and trainings, and will be required to perform other duties, as assigned. The hourly range for this position is ($13.20 – $23.00) and depends on qualifications. The weekly work schedule for this position will be Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Job Description

Communications Specialist

The Delaware County District Library, Delaware Branch, has an opening for a full-time, non-exempt status (40-hours per week), Communications Specialist. This position works with the Communications Manager as a Library ambassador to educate, inform, and update the community of Library resources. This position will focus on website content management, graphic design, and digital communications. This position will assist with programs, events, and services.

This position will be required to travel between Library locations, with the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays as needed for community events.
