Facilities Specialist – Delaware Main Library
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time Facilities Specialist to perform day-to-day building maintenance at all our Delaware County locations.
Overall duties will be the monitoring and upkeep of all Delaware County District Library properties, including but not limited to basic plumbing, electrical & HVAC repairs, cleaning up after patrons and staff, shoveling snow, lifting heavy loads and working on ladders. Reliable transportation is needed in order to make frequent trips between library locations. Mileage reimbursed; must have valid Ohio driver’s license.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. You will work with library staff to create an effective schedule, which will include your day-to-day routines and work timetables.
Starting salary will be between $16 – $18 per hour, depending on experience, and are eligible for paid sick leave and continuing education. This position reports to the Facilities & Administrative Support Manager. The position profile is attached.
