All locations of the Delaware County District Library (DCDL) system are now open with delayed hours for Tuesday, January 27, 2026. All branches opened at 12:00 p.m. and will remain open for their regular operating hours.

The delay impacted all DCDL branches, including locations in Delaware, Liberty Township, Orange Township, Ostrander, Powell, and Library Maker Studios, Outreach Services deliveries, and Bookmobile stops. All morning storytimes have been canceled for the day, and programming beginning after 12:00 p.m. will continue as regularly scheduled.

Any items due during an emergency closure will have their due date automatically extended to the library’s next open date.
