Ohio Digital Library
DCDL belongs to Ohio Digital Library, a consortium of Ohio public libraries that provides free ebooks, e-audio books, music, and videos to library patrons. Ohio Digital Library offers ebooks and other content from Libby, a leading provider of ebooks to libraries nationwide. Libby ebooks can be downloaded to a computer or portable device such as a Kindle, Nook, iPad, Android tablet, or smartphone. Learn more about Libby. Along with your computer or device, you need a library card and Internet access. For most devices, ebooks and other content are best enjoyed with the Libby app. Get the app at your usual app store, or visit here to locate the app for your device as well as additional optional software to download.

INTRODUCING: Hoopla Digital
hoopla digital is a new digital media service with access to nearly half a million titles in six different formats: movies, TV, music albums, eAudiobooks , eBooks, and comics/graphic novels. It can be accessed from your computer, tablet or Smartphone. With hoopla, there are no hold lists, no extra apps or accounts needed or special steps to use it. On a mobile device, borrowed content may be temporarily downloaded and accessed offline or, in either the app or on a computer, all borrowed content may be enjoyed while connected to the internet by streaming. Delaware County District Library patrons are given six borrows per month. On the first day of each month, your available borrows will automatically replenish. A hoopla app is available for Android, iOS, and Amazon users. Watch the tutorial videos for Android or iOS platforms for more help.
RB Digital Magazines (formerly Zinio)
RB Digital is a digital magazine and audiobook collection that allows you to check out and read complete, full-color issues of your favorite magazines or listen to your favorite audiobooks on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Both current issues and back issues of magazines are available. There are no due dates, waiting lists, or limits to how many you may have. The library subscribes to a variety of popular titles--see them all at our collection page. If you have any questions, please call or visit any of our locations and speak to a librarian.
How to use RB Digital
- Visit the library’s collection page. First-time users will need to create a new account. You will be prompted to enter your library card number, then your name, email address, and a password. Returning users will simply log in with their email and password.
- Browse/search for the magazine that you wish to check out. Click on the magazine to check it out and begin reading it on your computer screen. There is no limit to the number of magazines that you may check out, and you never have to return them.
- For mobile device users, the RBdigital app allows you to check out, view, and read your magazines on your iPad or Android device. Links to download the apps appear at the bottom of the library's RBdigital collection page. The email and password to log into the app are the same as those that you use to check out magazines.
- The RBdigital app displays the magazines that you have checked out. Once you download them to your device you may read them offline and keep them for as long as you like.
