From Delaware County Emergency Management, “The National Weather Service has placed us under a Heat Advisory that will go into effect [Tuesday] (6/30) at noon and remain in effect until Thursday (7/2) at 8:00pm. During this time, high temperatures mixed with high humidity will lead to heat index values of up to 105 degrees. If you need a place to escape the intense heat, several community partners have offered their locations as cooling centers to the public during normal business hours.”
