Member for a Day at the CMA

DCDL is excited to partner with the Columbus Museum of Art to offer Culture Passes to our library cardholders! The Wonder Room has been reimagined and is open again for hands-on exploration for art lovers of all ages.

CMA’s innovative Wonder Room — it’s fourth iteration — is a newly designed space that challenges users to engage their powers of wonder and curiosity to see the world not as it is but as it could be. Filled with art, games and participatory stations, visitors will enjoy a hands-on journey filled with surprises, challenges and new ways to connect to one another. You can learn more about CMA’s Wonder Room here.

Culture Passes provide FREE admission for up to eight people to the CMA. With this service, Library members can borrow a Culture Pass to visit the Columbus Museum of Art. CMA provides a limited number of passes to the library to offer greater access to arts, culture, and education for all ages. Passes may be picked up at any Library branch, or requested from Outreach Services. An adult cardholder may borrow one pass at a time to use within a seven-day loan period.

Each pass features access to full museum membership benefits for one visit:

  • Free admission for up to eight people
  • Free parking
  • A discount at CMA’s store and café
  • Passes must be used within seven days of issuance

Before visiting CMA, we recommend contacting the museum or visiting their website to verify hours, special exhibition restrictions, and COVID-19 safety guidelines. Read more about all the Culture Passes offered by your library here!
