Homeschoolers Art Gallery at Orange Branch Library

Are you an at-home learner with a love for creating art? Create an original piece of art inspired by this year’s summer reading club theme “Oceans of Possibilities”, drop it off at the Orange Branch by Friday, June 24th, and see it on display in our display cases throughout the month of July!

Challenge: Create an original piece of art inspired by the summer reading club theme “Oceans of Possibilities”. Use any medium you like, but please keep artwork size within the dimensions of our display cases. Our display cases will accommodate art no larger than 14 inches tall & 10 inches wide.
Art Drop Off: Please drop off your piece of art to the Orange Branch children’s librarians no later than Friday, June 24th to be added to our July display case gallery.
Please include your student’s name, age, & parent/guardian’s contact information on the back of the artwork. Staff will create artist labels for the art featuring the student’s first name/last initial and their age.
Contact information will be used for staff to reach out to the student’s parent or guardian after July for artwork pickup.
Art Pick Up: Artwork will be taken down in August and stored in the Children’s offices. Staff will contact students to pick up their artwork at this time.

The Delaware County District Library serves as the public information provider for our community, using traditional and innovative technology to encourage curiosity, free inquiry, and lifelong learning in a friendly environment.
