Meet Author Lisa See
Join the Friends of the Library at our beautiful new Liberty Branch Library for an unforgettable evening with Lisa See, author of beloved New York Times bestsellers Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, The Island of Sea Women, Shanghai Girls, and more.
In her novels, Lisa See brilliantly illuminates the strong bonds between women; she joins us as she launches her new historical fiction novel Lady Tan’s Circle of Women. See’s novels have been celebrated for their authentic, deeply researched, lyrical stories about Chinese characters and cultures.
All tickets will include a copy of Lady Tan’s Circle of Women. Books may be picked up in advance at Beanbag Books beginning June 6, and they will also be handed out the night of the event at the Liberty Branch Library. Numbers for signing will be assigned as tickets are purchased on Eventbrite. Backlist titles will also be available for purchase the night of the event, sold by Beanbag Books.
