Lifelong Learning Institute

Mark your calendar!  The Spring 2024 term of the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), designed especially for intellectually curious older adults, is scheduled from March 4 – April 12. Examine ideas, acquire knowledge and fuel your curiosity with Ohio Wesleyan University in collaboration with several Delaware-area organizations.

The LLI of OWU offers a variety of educational programs using peer learning concepts in a relaxed environment. Courses are taught by volunteers, including professors, practitioners and others in a non-competitive environment, with each class meeting for approximately two hours. Topics for the spring semester include film appreciation; preserving the past through art and storytelling through photographs; the 2024 elections; brain longevity; science in action, including bat conservation; women pioneers; banned and challenged books, and much more for your consideration! Morning, afternoon and evening classes are offered.

Registration is $75/person and will include registration for multiple courses. Scholarships are available.
