William Kent Krueger, bestselling author, to visit DCDL

Friends of the Delaware County District Library are hosting bestselling author William Kent Krueger on Wednesday, April 27; join us for an intimate 3-course lunch at Napa, and later for a presentation and book signing at The Barn at Stratford!

William Kent Krueger is the New York Times bestselling author of eighteen acclaimed books set in the Cork O’Connor mystery series, including Desolation Mountain, Sulfur Springs, and the most recent addition to the series, Lightning Strike. Krueger’s work has received a number of awards, including the Minnesota Book Award, the Loft-McKnight Fiction Award, the Anthony Award, the Barry Award, the Dilys Award, and the Friends of American Writers Prize. His last nine novels were all New York Times bestsellers.

Ordinary Grace, his stand-alone novel published in 2013, received the Edgar Award, given by the Mystery Writers of America in recognition for the best novel published in that year. The companion novel, This Tender Land, was published in September 2019 and spent nearly six months on the New York Times bestseller list.

You’ll have two opportunities to meet the author on Wednesday, April 27. First, you can join the Friends of the Delaware County District Library and Mr. Krueger for an intimate 3 course lunch at upscale Napa Kitchen + Bar in Westerville. The $75 ticket price includes lunch and a copy of Krueger’s newest mystery, Lightning Strike.
