Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the library! Teen volunteers (called VolunTEENS) help the library with children’s programming, office/computer work, program preparation and the Summer Reading Club. Volunteering has many benefits! It fosters responsibility, positive relationships and leadership skills. It also provides real-life work experience and provides service to the community. Volunteering can help teens when it comes to job and college applications—plus, we’re happy to write reference letters!
PLEASE NOTE: The Orange Branch Library is no longer accepting Summer Volunteen applications. If you are interested in volunteering during the School Year session, please mark "Year Round" on your application. The School Year session will begin in early September.
Volunteens must be 12-17 years old and have a parent or guardian's permission to volunteer. Additionally, they must read and agree to the terms of our Volunteen Conduct Agreement (which is included in the application). If you're 18 or older, check out our adult volunteer program! For more information on becoming a Volunteen, please contact our Volunteen Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are having trouble with the application link, try clearing your browser's cache or restarting your computer.
