Winter Check It Out '17-18

With December comes a glorious time in the lives of most school children – winter break. The Delaware County District Library (DCDL) also looks forward to this break and has planned activities for the entire family.

Both the Orange and Ostrander Branch libraries are hosting a “Winter Break at the Library” from December 26 – 29. The Orange Branch Library will have Play-Doh and LEGO parties, as well as show Toy Story and create New Year’s Eve Crafts from 2 – 4 p.m. each day. The Ostrander location will devote the entire day to their themes with days focusing on puzzles, LEGOs and cocoa and coloring.

The Delaware Main Library will host Family Movie Days on December 21(The Grinch Who Stole Christmas) and December 28 (Moana.)

All of these programs have something for all ages so gather the family and spend some time with DCDL during Winter Break. To see more December events, look at our event calendar.

As a reminder, all library locations will be closed on Sunday, December 24 and Monday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday. Normal hours will resume December 26. All branches also close early on New Year’s Eve at 5 p.m. and remain closed through New Year’s Day.
