Let Freedom Read
Summer Reading Club 2026
Attention readers of ALL ages! You are invited to join the Summer Reading Club at the Delaware County District Library. This summer’s theme, Let Freedom Read, celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
At the Delaware County District Library, readers of all ages are invited to explore the fun of Summer Reading Club and earn prizes. Summer Reading Club prizes and “read-on” bonus rewards vary by age group and are available while supplies last. When you reach your reading goal, pick up a read-on bookmark and keep reading! Each completed bookmark earns you an entry into our prize basket drawings!
Kids (ages 0–12), along with their adult, guardian, family member, or friend, are asked to join us and get inspired and Let Freedom Read by discovering the wonderful world of books and reading at least 12 hours this summer. Teens (ages 13–17) are encouraged to Let Freedom Read by selecting books that spark adventure, broaden their minds, or offer the chance to get lost in something new. Adults (18+) are invited to Let Freedom Read by picking up a book, tracking their reading, and participating in library programs throughout the summer.
