We're thankful for you!

Thanksgiving Closures

All Delaware County District Library locations will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, November 22, and remain closed on Thursday, November 23. We will reopen with normal operating hours on Friday, November 24. We wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving!

Leading up to the holiday, be sure to check out our collection of card and board games — they’re sure to add some fun to your Thanksgiving gathering! November is also Native American Heritage Month, and we have a great collection of stories that you can place on hold now. If you find you have some free time on Thanksgiving day, remember that our digital branches are always open! Try Hoopla’s collection of Thanksgiving stories for kids, or check out Libby’s collection of cooking magazines (just in time for Thanksgiving dinner).

From everyone at DCDL, happy Thanksgiving, and we’ll see you on Black Friday. (Remember, all the best deals are at your library: everything is 100% off!!!)

The Delaware County District Library serves as the public information provider for our community, using traditional and innovative technology to encourage curiosity, free inquiry, and lifelong learning in a friendly environment.
