Open to Serve You

(Archived) Walkthrough Browsing is Open

Now, regardless of the Alert Level for Delaware County is yellow, orange, or red, your Delaware Library will remain open to serve the public.

Previously, based on the Alert Level according to the Ohio Public Health Advisory System, the Library’s public health advisory system response would dictate that branches open or close, specifically with the county alternating between orange and red alert levels. However, an updated response now allows all DCDL locations to remain open with walkthrough browsing, extended computer lab hours, and curbside or drive-up window service up until the county is declared an Alert Level 4 – Purple.

Updated operating hours remain the same from the Library’s Curbside and Drive-Up Window service schedule.

Hours:

  • Monday*, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

*(Ostrander Branch Library is closed on Mondays)

Some things to note, regardless of level:

  • Masks are required of individuals ages 2 and up within a Library building
  • Individuals may still use curbside and drive-up services, as they prefer
  • Staff will still be available to take phone calls, answer emails and website chats
  • Buildings will operate at a limited capacity
  • Individuals are asked to limit time inside the buildings to 1 hour
  • Computer sessions last 50-minutes
  • Print needs can be completed in-person or by emailing askus@delawarelibrary.org

We’ll see you in the library, at curbside, drive-up, or online.

We open doors to imagination, knowledge, connection, and discovery.
