Young Writers Workshop
Have an aspiring young writer? Join Friends of the DCDL and Steve Harpster, comic book author/illustrator and children’s educational presenter, as your kids write, illustrate, and publish their own books. Scholarships for this program are also available!
Mr. Harpster will provide personalized guidance for children in the development of their own published books. Each child will receive a professionally bound book with a duplicate copy added to the Delaware County District Library collection!
Two sessions will take place on Saturday, April 13:
- 10 am – 12:30 pm
- 1:30 – 3:30 pm
Pre-registration is required. Tickets may be purchased through the Friends of the Library’s Eventbrite and cost $35 each, and include five copies of your child’s book plus a copy that will be added to the Library’s collection. Friends of the Library members receive a $5 discount! Full scholarships are also available by emailing programs@delawarelibraryfriends.org.
