Residents of Delaware County who are ages 55 and older are showcased in this county-wide juried art show, the Senior Showcase: Art After 55!

  • Cash prizes in 2D, 3D and Best of Show categories
  • Public exhibit at the Arts Castle has been rescheduled to Fall 2021
  • The entry period for 2021 is open for new submissions. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021.

  • Residents of Delaware County aged 55+. This is a juried art show.
  • You may enter up to three pieces of your original artwork created within the last 3 years.
  • Please do not enter artwork that was exhibited in the 2018 Senior Showcase, if you participated.
  • 2D Categories: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Computer Art, Mixed Media
  • 3D Categories: Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelry, Fiber, Metal/Wood/Glass/Stone

Important Dates

  • August 15 @ 2 – 4 PM: Accepted artists deliver art to the Arts Castle
  • August 28 @ 5 – 7 PM: Artist reception and announcement of winners
  • August 28 – October 23: Senior Showcase on Display in the Arts Castle, open for viewing during public hours
  • October 24 @ 2 – 4 PM: Artists pick up artwork
  • October 25 – November 6: Winning artwork on display at┬áWillow Brook Delaware Run
  • November 8 – 19: Winning artwork on display at the Orange Branch Library
  • November 20: Winning artists pick up artwork at Orange Branch Library from 2 – 4 PM


Cash prizes will be given to the top three placings in both categories as well as the BEST OF SHOW.

Winning entries will be on display at the Orange Branch Library and Willow Brook Delaware Run after the show.

Sale of Artwork

The Arts Castle will facilitate sales for artwork during the exhibit.
